With over 22 beloved franchises like Jurassic World, Back to the Future, Jaws, and Masters of the Universe, this action-adventure game combines fan-favorite worlds with engaging gameplay. Developed for solo or online co-op play with up to four players, Funko Fusion offers over 60 unique characters, each tailored for specific themed worlds.
Set in a maze-like toy factory hub, players can explore different worlds inspired by classic franchises. From thrilling dinosaur encounters in Jurassic World to villain hunts in the Masters of the Universe universe, each world promises an engaging storyline and plenty of surprises. While gameplay details remain under wraps, the developers hinted at a larger, interconnected story.
Mission-Based Gameplay Across Expansive Themed Worlds
Funko Fusion offers players mission-based objectives across open, interactive maps. In Jurassic World, for instance, players may have to hunt down five Dilophosaurus, while the Masters of the Universe missions involve hunting villains. Completing tasks and defeating enemies earns vinyl coins, used to build items at machines scattered throughout each map.
Three types of machines enhance gameplay: green machines offer health kits and speed boosts, red machines provide new weapons, and blue machines unlock new gameplay mechanics. Each themed world introduces unique mechanics, like teleportation portals in Masters of the Universe. These mechanics are accessible across worlds, allowing players to experiment with new strategies and reach hidden areas.
The action-focused gameplay showcases a mix of combat and puzzles, adding layers of strategy to the adventure. While the action is fast-paced, expect puzzle challenges that involve unlocking doors or manipulating objects. The game’s online co-op mode allows friends to team up from different consoles, although split-screen play is unavailable.
